Bene questo \u00e8 il primo passo per permettere ai server Linux di dialogare con l\u2019Ups per lo shutdown automatico.<\/p>\n<p>Il software che vi serve \u00e8 <a title=\"Apc Ups\" href=\"http:\/\/www.apcupsd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Apcupsd<\/a> con versione minima 3.14.xx o superiore, solitamente in rete si trovano i pacchetti anche per versioni server vetuste come la <a title=\"deb\" href=\"https:\/\/launchpad.net\/ubuntu\/gutsy\/i386\/apcupsd\/3.14.1-3\" target=\"_blank\">Ubuntu 7.10<\/a> e per <a title=\"rpm apc\" href=\"http:\/\/pkgs.repoforge.org\/apcupsd\/\" target=\"_blank\">Centos versione 3<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>La configurazione del file non richiede pi\u00f9 di 10 minuti, si ricorda prima che \u00e8 necessario configurare l\u2019ups assegnandoli un ip, un utente e la parchase.<\/p>\n<p>Per Ubuntu dobbiamo andare nel percorso \/etc\/default\/apcupsd<br \/>\ncercare la riga: \u201cISCONFIGURED=yes\u201d ed impostarla ad yes, di default \u00e8 no. Per Centos questo passaggio non c\u2019\u00e8.<br \/>\nConfiguriamo poi il file vero e proprio\/etc\/apcupsd\/apcupsd.conf commentando le righe (aggiungendo un cancelletto)<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/UPSTYPE\/\" title=\"UPSTYPE\">#UPSTYPE<\/a> apcsmart<br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/DEVICE\/\" title=\"DEVICE\">#DEVICE<\/a> \/dev\/ttyS0<br \/>\ned inserendo queste nuove righe:<br \/>\nUPSCABLE ether<br \/>\nUPSTYPE pcnet<br \/>\nDEVICE ip_gruppo:utente_del_gruppo:password_parchase:3052<\/p>\n<p>Al posto di ip_gruppo\u00a0 e utente_del_gruppo e password_parchase inserite le informazioni necessarie senza spazi e pastrocchi ;)<\/p>\n<p>A questo punto lanciamo il servizio con: sudo\u00a0 \/etc\/init.d\/apcupsd start , se il file \u00e8 ok e non avete fatto errori il servizio si dovrebbe avviare e nell\u2019interfaccia web del gruppo dovreste trovarvi il client collegato.
